Tūātea
The breaking of the waves (tūātea) at Taupō-nui-a-Tia (Lake Taupo), Aotearoa New Zealand, in to which are folded Smalleyan resonances. The location is significant, Douglas Lilburn recorded waves here for his Soundscape with Lake and River (1979), a seminal piece of NZ electroacoustic music.
