Less Is More
Our minimalist-inspired weekend features classic examples of US minimalism from Steve Reich (Drumming and Eight Lines) and Terry Riley (In C) alongside more recent works which grew out of the genre (some almost denying it) from Michael Nyman, Graham Fitkin, Gavin Bryars, Michael Gordon and Stephen Montague.
