Rhythmically intricate and harmonically sumptuous. Using the buzzing bray harp, the delicate Irish wire strung harp and the Scottish lever harp, Ruth will perform music by Steve Reich, John Cage and Graham Fitkin, as well as music from the oldest collection of harp music in existence, the Robert ap Huw Manuscript.

She will be joined by Fitkin himself who will talk about the music and add occasional live electronics to create an evening of sublime subtelty.
