Tony Bedewi
A graduate of London's Royal Academy of Music and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Tony frequently appears as both timpanist and percussionist with many of the UK's premier ensembles, including the London Symphony and London Philharmonic Orchestras. During 2007 he also served as guest principal timpanist with the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, Chile.
Away from the orchestral scene he has appeared with a variety of artists such as Steve Martland and the Steve Martland Band, xylophone soloist extraordinaire Bob Becker and as a deputy for the west end show The Lion King, as well as numerous appearances at the BBC Proms.
In his spare time he enjoys travelling, hiking and learning to cook food from all over the world.
