Pete Stollery's Covid-19 Sound Map shortlisted for Sound of the Year Awards

sound Chair Pete Stollery's Covid-19 Sound Map has been shortlisted for the Sound of the Year Awards.

The awards are a newly launched celebration of everyday sound (not music) in all its forms presented by The Museum Of Sound in partnership with The New BBC Radiophonic Workshop and others. It is a UK-based awards ceremony this year but submissions are encouraged from around the world. 

The awards aim to highlight the rapidly-expanding international community of sound professionals and enthusiasts.  

Winners will be announced on Friday 2 April at 11pm on BBC Radio 3's Late Junction show.
