We're really sorry to announce that KEIN is now cancelled - to be rescheduled at a later date.
Unfortunately, Red Note lead violinist Jacqueline Shave has sustained a deep cut to her index finger. This is healing but not in time for the premiere of KEIN in Aberdeen on 28th October. François Sarhan’s KEIN is a complex, virtuosic, multi-faceted work which requires the performers to sing, talk and move whilst playing their instruments, which makes it impossible for a replacement performer to be brought in at short notice.
KEIN will be premiered at the Musiques Démesurrées festival in Clermont-Ferrand, France on Friday 11th November and will come to Aberdeen later in the year.
Renowned Bozzini Quartet from Canada has stepped in to replace KEIN. People who have already bought tickets for the KEIN can use the same tickets to see the Bozzini Quartet instead, or get a refund from APA box office or if they prefer they can keep their tickets which will be valid for the rescheduled date - still to be confirmed. The link below gives details of the replacement concert.
We hope to see you at the Bozzini Quartet on Friday 28 October.
