An exciting day of activities exploring the science of sound led by composers and sound artists Pete Stollery and Duncan Chapman, with music students from the University of Aberdeen. Each show will tease out some of the science behind sound and music through listening, creating and participating. The day will include a series of fun hands- on activities as well as several shows, each lasting 20 minutes, exploring all the different aspects of sounds – and there will even be some live music! At the end of the afternoon, we will reveal a brand new piece of music that will have been composed by everyone attending the day.
