ManHigh Film Score Workshops
For young composers, musicians and sound designers aged 16 – 25.
Are you excited by the idea of writing film music, creating original sound scores, and performing live music with film? If so, then this series of workshops are right up your street! ManHigh is a celebrated work for film and live music created by composers Stephen Deazley and Martin Parker and video artist Andy McGregor. It tells of test pilot JosephKittinger’s heroic leap from the edge of space in 1960.
During these workshops you will be mentored and challenged by professional composer Stephen Deazley, musician Peter Furniss, and sound designer Owen Green, where you will create your own film score, set to original US Air force images of Kittinger’s fall to earth.

Aberdeen College - Rehearsal: Fri 1 Nov (2 – 6.30pm)
MacRobert Building, The University of Aberdeen University - Sound check & performance: 8.15 pm, following ManHigh at The Lemon Tree: Sat 2 Nov, 7.30pm
