Friends
If you share our passion for new music, you can personally support sound by becoming a Friend of the festival. As a Friend you will get a number of benefits both during and beyond the festival, including:
- An invitation for you and a friend to attend the launch event
- Priority mailing of the festival programme
- Exclusive Friends e-bulletin keeping you up to date with what’s going on at sound throughout the year
- 2 for 1 tickets on a sound promoted event of your choice (limited to 2 tickets per membership)
- Acknowledgement on our Friends’ wall on sound website
- Participation in annual sound consultation evening
Your donation provides support that is vital to the ongoing success of the festival.
A single membership costs a minimum donation of £20/ £15 (concessions).
A joint membership (same address) costs a minimum donation of £35/ £25 (concessions).
Memberships run for one festival and are renewed on an annual basis.
(Concession means anyone who is claiming benefit or unemployed, in full time education, senior citizens and registered disabled)

For Friends of sound who are interested, come and give us a hand ‘backstage’… Possibilities include acting as Front of House for events, reviewing and documenting shows (video and photo).
