About

sound is an initiative of Woodend Barn and the University of Aberdeen, and is organised as a network of local and national organisations.  As well as promoting new music itself, sound works with other organisations to as well.

The 2014 network also includes Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums, Aberdeen Chamber Music Concerts, Aberdeen Performing Arts, Braemar Community, Cryptic, Dance Live Festival, Cults Parish Church, Jazz at the Blue Lamp, The Lemon Tree, Lunchbreak Concerts at Cowdray Hall, Musa, Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, Musiques Démesurées, Newton Dee Community, Orchestre d’Auvergne, Red Note Ensemble, Scottish Opera, Sonic Bothy, Sound and Music, Strathdee Music Club and Woodend Music Society.
