Miriama Young
Miriama Young writes music and prose, her work moving freely between media and genre. She collaborates across disciplines with works for radio, spoken poetry projects, pop music, and interactive electro-acoustic music for dance. Miriama grew up in Wellington, New Zealand, and studied music at Victoria University of Wellington. She completed her Ph.D. in Music Composition from Princeton University in 2007, and is currently based in Aberdeen as a Lecturer in Music at the University of Aberdeen.
