Alisdair Gordon is a native of Aberdeen, but has spent many years living in England and Greece, working mainly as a teacher of English to foreign students. He is interested in modern Greek and Spanish literature, but also in the Japanese forms haiku and senryu. He finds Biblical themes of interest, often for what is left out.
