sound is seeking donations to support composers who are facing financial difficulties during the current COVID-19 lockdown.
We are fundraising for a minimum of three bursaries of up to £250 for composers to create short compositions for north-east new music ensemble, Any Enemy, which are specifically created for performance online over, for example Zoom, which will actively exploit all the constraints that these platforms put on musicians when performing live.
Pete Stollery will mentor the composers on composing for these forces and the pieces will be performed at some point over the coming weeks.
