Covid policy

We’re very pleased to be back with a live and in person festival.

In the current climate, and despite easing of restrictions, we still feel it’s important to be cautious and to try and keep everyone as safe as possible. Please read the below so that you know what is expected of you as audiences and what will also be expected of our staff, volunteers and musicians.

Event attendees

Physical distancing

Although it is no longer a requirement, we will space out seating to encourage physical distancing. Please also try to keep a safe distance when circulating in the venue, in order to respect people’s personal space and keep them safe.

Face coverings

We will expect audience members to wear face coverings during concerts (even if the performing musicians aren’t). This is a requirement of the Scottish Government, unless you are drinking, dining or are medically exempt. If you forget yours, just let us know, as we will have some spare.

Test & Protect

Please scan the NHS Test & Protect QR code on your smartphone upon arrival. If you are unable to do this or do not have a smartphone, you will be able to fill in details when you arrive with one of our staff members or volunteers.

Hand sanitiser

We will have hand sanitisers available at all events. Please use these before you enter a venue.

Please follow the current government guidelines and do not come to an event if you have:

  • any Covid-19 symptoms
  • been instructed or required to self-isolate
  • tested positive for Covid-19.

If you are unable to attend an event due to Covid-19, please let us know, and we will arrange for your ticket to be refunded after the festival.

Requirements for staff, musicians and volunteers

Please note that all our staff, musicians and volunteers will be required to do lateral flow tests daily. They will also be wearing face coverings unless they are performing, presenting and/or running workshops where they need to communicate.

Tickets

We recommend pre-booking tickets to avoid queues at venues. You will be able to buy tickets at the Lemon Tree box office. At other venues we will have a facility to sell tickets using visa or mastercard.

Show cancellation

Where possible we will replace musicians for concerts where a musician tests positive prior to the festival. If this is impossible and we have to cancel the concert, we will refund your tickets.
