soundlab
Widen your musical horizons and challenge your musical creativity by coming along to our newly formed contemporary music group, soundlab! Led by clarinettist Joanna Nicholson, soundlab is an open group for musicians to get together regularly to rehearse and perform new music. These rehearsals will look at contemporary pieces some of which have been written on a whisky theme and improvisation, and will culminate in a short performance at the Pheonix Community Centre, Newton Dee.

The workshop performance session yesterday was stimulating and fun – thanks. Very ably led by Joanna, an eclectic range of music wasexplored and created by voices, recorders, gongs, electric guitars, trumpet and clarinet. Should be a good concert on Saturday 9th Nov.
