Ronald Center String Quartet No. 3*
David Ward String Quartet No. 7 (world première)**
Mendelssohn String Quartet No. 2 

and a selection of several short pieces written for the concert by young people in celebration of the centenary of Ronald Center’s birth.

BBC Radio 4 Today presenter James Naughtie will also be talking about his teacher Ronald Center.

*Center’s String Quartet No. 3 will receive its first complete performance
