‘Where Long Shadows Fall’
Audio installation inspired by people’s stories of their lives in the Glen. Extracts of voice recordings interspersed with the natural sounds of the Glen and forest creating a soundscape with other imagined sounds. The site is in the heart of Glenbuchat in a circle of hardwood trees with a clearing in the centre near the hall.
‘Talla an t-Sìthein’ – The Hall of the Fairy Mound
A night time sound and light installation inspired by the Gaelic Otherworld. Though the audio can be heard during the day, this installation is designed to be experienced in the hours of darkness, or dusk and dawn.
The installations can be experienced at any time between Wed 23 Oct and Thurs 21 Nov. Access along forest tracks. Robust footwear recommended. Bring a torch if visiting after dark.
