Kazutoki Umezu's Kiki Band is difficult to categorise. To some it may be the newest type of Jazz-Rock to other it might sound like prog rock.
If you listen the rhythm, you'll feel rock-n-roll, and if you follow the melody you could be listening to a world music mix.
They like unusual beats, but in essence it's jazz!
Although the band has been making music together for over twenty years their music continues to evolve and explore.
The Kiki band will be playing music from their new album due to be released this October.
