sound is delighted to be involved in ‘The Festival of Contemporary Music for All’ which will take place from 1-24 March 2024. As part of the festival, sound will present a day of participative new music making.

CoMA Festival Day: Phaedra Ensemble Workshop

Take part in a relaxed workshop led by members of Phaedra Ensemble, exploring how to work with your instrument or voice to create new sounds and interpret new music. 

For musicians and composers of 15+ interested in engaging in contemporary music making. All instruments and voices are welcome!

CoMA Festival Day: Side-by-side with Any Enemy, Phaedra Ensemble and Spectrum

Come and rehearse and perform Stephen Montague’s O Futurum in an afternoon, alongside musicians from Phaedra EnsembleAny Enemy (Aberdeen’s new music ensemble) & the University of Aberdeen’s Spectrum Ensemble.

For instrumentalists and singers who can read music and have orchestra, ensemble and/or choir experience. Instrumentalists should be at least grade 3/4 standard.
