Vacancy with Visit Aberdeen: Festivals Coordinator
Aberdeen festivals collective is looking for a strategic, self-starter to help them develop a new collaboration between the festivals in Aberdeen, with the aim of raising the profile of the festivals, building their audiences and establishing Aberdeen as an exciting, innovative cultural centre.
The post is part time, 2.5 days a week, and is a fixed term 18 month contract. The role could be full time if combined with the Business Tourism Sales Manager post, also being advertised, for a suitable applicant. A job share or secondment will also be considered.
The collective currently comprises: Aberdeen International Youth Festival, DanceLive, Sound, Aberdeen Jazz Festival, May Festival, Tech Fest, Arts Across Learning, 50+, and North East Open Studios.
