Opportunity: Youth and Communities Engagement Intern

sound is offering a paid year-long part-time internship for a young graduate musician interested in developing their skills in managing and running learning and participation events and workshops, and gaining experience working in the arts. 

sound is a new music incubator based in North-East Scotland, encouraging new music creation and discovery. We run the annual soundfestival, as well as year-round activity supporting a wide range of composers, engaging with local communities and providing educational opportunities.

The chosen candidate will work closely with, and be supported by, all members of the sound team and play a critical role in delivery of our communities and participation programme. As it is a hands-on job, we are looking for someone living in and already familiar with North East Scotland.

We aim to have the Youth and Communities Engagement Intern in place by early April 2024.

This is a 0.5 post and will be remunerated at £21,840 pro rata.
