Curious is part supper club, part season of contemporary performance, part conversation. Curious is a partnership between Woodend Barn, sound, NEAT and Buchanan Food.
Curious is about introducing audiences to new work in a relaxed setting and encouraging and provoking stimulating conversation.
We are looking for new contemporary work and work in progress in any genre (music, dance, theatre, film etc) and format to be part of the Curious programme. Artists and companies must be comfortable engaging with the audience before and/or after the performance.
Curious events are held on the first Thursday of every month. We can offer a fee of £500, and the usual set up is food, followed by the performance, and then a facilitated conversation, however this is open to suggestion and to what works best for the performance, and other methods of interaction with the audience are welcomed. Current dates available include June, September – December. Please state preferred dates / availability when applying.
