As part of this week, sound is putting out a call for new short pieces based on works in Aberdeen Art Gallery. Those chosen will be performed during the week of the 28th October (exact date tbc) in the Art Gallery in front of the chosen work, and will be publicised as part of the sound festival.
Details
Performers: The piece should be written for flute (including alto/bass/contrabass) and/or clarinet (including bass).
Timeline
Early June 2013
A guided visit of the gallery and art works will be organised on Saturday 1st June at 10.30am for all composers interested (if you can’t make this please let us know).
Early Sept 2013
Commissions to be submitted.
