Aberdeen International Youth Festival

Friday 25 July until Saturday 2 August

Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF) this year sees more than 1000 talented young people from across the Globe, and closer to home, come together to produce a diverse programme of dance, jazz, opera, orchestral, theatre and choral.

The young people collaborate and celebrate their often diverse cultures and will put on breath-taking performances, showcasing the next big names in each performing arts discipline.

Expect performers from as far as the USA, Beijing and Ukraine, who will perform across the North-east alongside Scotland's own Grampian Youth Orchestra and the North-east Harp Ensemble, to name only a few.

AIYF 2014 is Scotland's platform for youth arts and we want to celebrate and share the incredible talent from young people across the local area, national and international arts disciplines.

It's a feast for your ears and eyes - check out this year's programme!
