With support from sound and Aberdeen City Council, Flatpack Opera is a new project developed by a group of young musicians based in Aberdeen who studied at or are still studying in the Music Department at the University of Aberdeen.
Flatpack Opera will visit primary schools with an enchanting performance of three children’s operas specially written and performed by young artists from Aberdeen that will introduce pupils to the wonders and delights of opera, live singing, music and some great short stories.
The operas are performed by three singers and two instrumentalists (violin and cello) and suitable for all primary school age ranges.
