The University of Aberdeen is celebrating it's second Composers' Day.

This day is their annual celebration of the exciting and innovative new work that the student and staff composers create throughout the year. This year they are joined by a guest renowned composer who will lead an open workshop with their new music group Spectrum.

Date: Saturday 3rd May 2025 

Event 1: Open workshop with Spectrum

Time: 11am-1pm

Venue: Main Hall, King’s Pavilion

Tickets: FREE!

Event 2: Composer’s Forum Open Discussion

Time: 6.30pm-7pm

Venue: 2nd Floor, King's Pavilion

Tickets: FREE! 

Concert: Outwith Ensemble and Sepctrum

An amazing concert featuring our in-house professional ensemble Outwith who will be teaming up with Spectrum and the Composers' Choir to create something truly special.

Time: 7.30pm-10pm

Venue: Main Hall, King’s Pavilion

Admission: £10 or £3 for students – tickets can be purchased online (Events | University of Aberdeen) or at the door by cash or card.  Please note, if purchasing online, you will not receive a ticket, please show your confirmation email at the door!
