Renowned American guest composer-in-residence Morten Lauridsen will join SPECTRUM New Music Ensemble and soprano Jillian Bain Christie for an evening of his visceral and colourful chamber works. Pieces on the programme include his Cuatro Canciones sobre poesias de Federico García Lorca and his musical theatre song Where Have the Actors Gone? Also featured is the world première of SPECTRUM’s latest commissioned work, The Vox Collection by Bryce Hope, winner of the 2016 Carlaw | Ogston Composition Award.
