Join us online at 4pm on Sunday 13 December as we continue our live soundcast series. 

As the winter solstice draws near, composer Colin Riley presents the premiere of his new work The Year's Midnight, a setting of part of John Donne’s ‘A Nocturnal Upon St Lucy’s Day', featuring the voices of Melanie Pappenheim and Jeremy Avis. St Lucy's day falls on December 13 which was previously considered the shortest day of the year.

You will be able to interact during the session using the chat facility on Zoom to comment on the music as it is being played and join in a live discussion at the end.
