A concert performance with live readings by Scottish author Ali Smith, one of the most prominent writers of our time, from her Seasonal Quartet novels Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer, focussing on eternally relevant contemporary themes such as climate, ecology, migrations, social media, Brexit, war, populism.
The stunning players of the New European Ensemble from The Netherlands present a programme of music inspired by the novels’ themes, including newly-commissioned works by four female composers from around the world: Kate Moore (Australia), Alice Yeung (Hong Kong), Seung-Won Oh (South Korea) and Sara Zamboni (Italy).

Ticket Information
£14 Standard /£10 (senior citizens)/£6 (jobseekers, full time students, disabled people)/Free (under 18, essential companions), and are inclusive of fees.
There is also an option to Pay What You Can (PWYC), so that no one is excluded because of their financial circumstances.
You can thus choose to pay less than the recommended ticket prices if you can’t afford them. You can also choose to pay more, helping to support our activities commissioning new work and supporting local musicians and young people.
