Free online workshop open to composers of all levels.
Exploring the Art of Sound Installations
Are you a composer curious about how your creative skills might be applied to the context of an installation?
Are you interested in long form or generative composition and exploring the use of unconventional instruments and sound sculpture?
Kathy Hinde will share some of the methods and processes she employs when creating sound installations, site specific work and sculptural instruments that could shift from being an installation to a setting for performance and improvisation.
6-7pm including approx. 40 min talk with a Q&A session at the end. Please note that although we try to wrap-up opensound sessions by 7pm, they sometimes run over by 5-10 min
