This project brings together artists from different corners of the European continent to reflect on the turbulent decade since the UK referendum to leave the EU, and to explore ideas around nationalism, migration, conflict, unity, and the question of a common European identity.
Featuring three specially commissioned works by Irish composer Linda Buckley, Estonian composer Krõõt-Kärt Kaev and British composer Elaine Mitchener, for solo voice with electronics and / or handheld instruments, all written for the soprano Mimi Doulton.
A short documentary by Mladen Ivanović interviewing residents and expatriates of the Balkan nations about these themes will also be played as part of the performance.

£14 Standard /£10 (senior citizens)/£6 (jobseekers, full time students, disabled people)/Free (under 18, essential companions). Please note that tickets for events at The Lemon Tree are subject to a 10% booking fee.
There is also an option to Pay What You Can (PWYC), so that no one is excluded because of their financial circumstances.
