Be transported to 1950's Paris as Percussion Claviers de Lyon accompany a film screening of the 1956 Oscar-winning French film Le Ballon Rouge (The Red Balloon) performing music by Darius Milhaud arranged by Jérémy Daillet.
Le Ballon Rouge is a fantasy short film directed by French filmmaker Albert Lamorisse which follows the adventures of a young boy who one day finds a sentient, mute, red balloon, was filmed in the Ménilmontant neighborhood of Paris.
Alongside the film screening, Percussion Claviers de Lyon also perform various arrangements of music by Satie, Joplin, da Bandolim and Milhaud.
