Bring your instrument and get creative in our fun music making sessions for young instrumentalists ages 8-11 (P4-P7)!
In these sessions young people will have the opportunity to explore new music and develop their own musical creativity through playing, improvising, and creating.
Young people will discover and play new music by contemporary UK composers, be encouraged to experiment with sound, learn how to create their own graphic scores, and meet like-minded young musicians in the area.
The Orchestra will be creating and recording a soundscape based on their soundwalk around Union Terrace Garden during the April Get Creative session. Participants are encouraged to take their own instruments for this session. The pieces created during this session will be played during the Family Arts Day as part of Light the Blue, on June 7th.
