Children should be able to play a variety of different notes with ease and should have been playing their instrument for a minimum of six months.
Suggested ages are only a guideline - we encourage participants to attend the group that would be most beneficial to them at this point in their creative development regardless of age.
A short sharing performance for family and friends takes place at the end of each session at 2.45pm.
We are delighted to be working on a fun new commission by composer Erin Thomson. We'll be working on Erin's piece in the next couple of sessions, and we will perform the piece as part of the CoMA (Contemporary Music for All) Festival in March 2024.
We can accommodate all instruments in the workshop but please note there are only limited places for percussionists and pianists (offered on a first-come first-served basis).
