Would you like to learn about recording and editing sound?

In this free workshop, you will explore the sounds of Aberdeen's Highland Games with composer Jamie Lawson using recording devices.

Jamie will then show you how you to edit your collected sounds using digital software.

The edited recordings will be shared later in the day and will also be available to listen to online.

Suitable for all ages (u16 must be accompanied by an adult)
Limited to 10 participants (+ accompanying adult)

Throughout the day there will also be a listening station housing Jamie's sound installation 'Tape Jam'. Analogue tape recorders will be available where you can drop in, pick up some headphones, and add your own personal listening experience to the collection.
