Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang formerly of Galaxie 500 bring their dreamy contemplative folk-rock to Aberdeen for the first time. They will be joined for this evening by guitarist Michio Kurihara ofJapanese psych-rock band Ghost. "[Kurihara] hasn't so much altered what they do as augmented it, often beautifully. Toronto based Picastro are ostensibly a vehicle for singer-songwriter Liz Hysen There will be moments of heartbreaking beauty and heart-wrenching despair, made via an even more stripped down instrumentation of cello, guitar & Hysen's use of vocals more as a lead instrument than just another texture in the mix.
