Self-described "flower punks", Southern garage-punk band The Black Lips are one of the US underground’s most talked about bands, having being banned from numerous venues for their wild live shows, as well as releasing a multitude of sell-out albums and 7 inches on different underground garage labels. The fun these guys have is hard to hide either live or on record: this is rock n roll as it was once known: soul-stirringly powerful and wholly unpredictable.
