This concert will feature GIO by themselves and also in collaboration with a number of Aberdeen based improvising musician and will present new material that explores free improvisation in a large group context. As well as completely free improvisations, devices such as graphic scores, conventional / non conventional notation and conduction will be employed to help structure the music.
