Tansy Davies: new work for horn trio

2020's 'endangered' instrument is the French Horn and we are thrilled to be commissioning a new work from Tansy Davies who will be writing a new piece for Court Circuit, a horn trio from France.

Philip Cashian: new work for horn and small ensemble

Broadening the repertoire for horn we are also commissioning a new work from Philip Cashian which will be written for horn and small ensemble.

sound's current composer in residence Ailie Robertson is writing a new work for small ensemble.

Young people and composition

Get Composing! is a programme of compositional training opportunities for young people aged 13-19 from rural areas, and in particular from North East Scotland. 

soundbytes gives the opportunity to help with the cost of a young person’s place on Go Compose!, our annual 3-day composition course.
