Can you confirm what time this performance starts? The posters say 8:30pm, but I’ve also seen 8:00pm listed in other places, and on Graeme Stephen’s own website.

The workshop performance session yesterday was stimulating and fun – thanks. Very ably led by Joanna, an eclectic range of music wasexplored and created by voices, recorders, gongs, electric guitars, trumpet and clarinet. Should be a good concert on Saturday 9th Nov.

I went to 7 events over 3 days at sound (opera weekend) and had a great time! I was so inspired to hear people like Trevor Wishart, John Casken and Gareth Williams talking about music. All the events were well organised and the atmosphere was friendly, welcoming and inclusive – no cultural ghettos here…

It’s great when someone else put’s one’s own feelings and reactions into words, and Alan has done that for me. It was a thrilling evening of music, and I am SO glad that Aberdeen now has such an excellent orchestra – I wish the people who attend RSNO, SCO and BBCSSO concerts in the Music Hall would wake up and realise just how our own Aberdeen orchestra gives one an equally satisfying musical experience as any of these visiting orchestras.
Come on Aberdeen music lovers – be there on Sunday 24th March 2013.
