The Cold Dancer
K Dempster and Edinburgh Quartet educational project

Aberdeenshire Council will be working with the Edinburgh Quartet and the composer Kenneth Dempster in schools in the North of Aberdeenshire. "The Cold Dancer " educational project has been put together to encourage primary school children to be musically creative. The children will work with the composer and the Quartet around a new string quartet - String Quartet No. 4 (The Cold Dancer) - composed by Kenneth Dempster based on "A Reel of Seven Fishermen" by George MacKay Brown.

Date: Monday 7th - Friday 11th November 2005

Place: schools in Fraserburgh, Rosehearty, Buchanhaven and Portsoy

Time: all week with a performance on Thursday afternoon
