sound collective

Are you aged 11-18? Come and create music with us this October!

soundcollective is a new music project run by sound and shmu in Aberdeen.

We’re running sessions in Middlefield, Torry and Woodside as part of this year's soundfestival where you can come along and create music, be part of a group and take part in a live event!

Just bring yourself and your ideas (and an instrument if you have one). It doesn’t matter if you play an instrument or not though – you can join in and create new music with the support of our team of tutors.

You can drop in to the sessions during term time or come along to them all. If you haven't been able to come along to a term time session you can still join in for the October holiday sessions.

In the October holidays, everyone will come together at shmu (Station Rd) for 3 days of music-making with composer Rory Comerford and our weekly tutors where you will develop and bring together your ideas for a short performance on the last day.
