A double bill of music created by and for young people.

3pm: Runeruin

Join modern-day explorer Margaret Burns on a wild adventure to the mythical island of Runeruin, home to creatures of Scottish mythology and our imagination. Told through sound and moving pictures, this performance is a chance to find out what happens when Margaret steps into to a world of mythology. Is there a happy ending or will it end in disaster? Suitable for ages 3-11 years.

Associated workshop @ 1.45-2.45pm
Join the creators of Runeruin for a magical workshop to create your own mythical creature. What would it look like or sound like? 4pm: soundcollective

soundcollective is a creative music project for young people run by sound in partnership with Station House Media Unit. This event brings together different groups from Torry, Northfield and Woodside who have been working with composer Rory Comerford and local musicians to create some new and original music.
