Three Cities Project
This project is the first step in a partnership to develop cultural links between Aberdeen, Bergen and St Petersburg involving three festivals (Music Factory, Bergen; sound festival Aberdeen; Sound Ways, St Petersburg) and three academic institutions (Grieg Academy, Bergen; University of Aberdeen; Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory, St Petersburg).
The aim of the Three Cities Project is for participants to learn about and engage with aural culture from each of the three cities through working with sound recordings. Workshops and recordings took place in Bergen and Aberdeen in 2011, and took place in St Petersburg in February 2012.
