Art and Music

In between the repeat concerts presenting new commissions inspired by art works at Aberdeen Art Gallery, Dr. John Morrison from the University of Aberdeen will discuss the art works chosen by the composers and discuss their choices with them.

The four Scottish-based composers - Pippa Murphy, Oliver Searle, Gareth Williams and Paul Tierney - have each written a new piece for any combination of two flutes, clarinet and cello which will be performed by Richard Craig and Roberto Fabbriciani, flutes, Tadej Kenig, clarinet, and Rohan de Saram, cello at 6pm and again at 8pm.
