Con Anima

Con Anima

Con Anima Chamber Choir, founded in 1995 and re-formed in 2001, performs regularly in all three of Aberdeen's cathedrals and in other venues in the city, the surrounding area and elsewhere in Scotland. Our repertoire spans sacred and secular music, a cappella and accompanied, from the sixteenth century to the twenty-first. Among the recent highlights of our performing history are a concert in November 2007 featuring music by the renowned American composer Morten Lauridsen, performed in the composer's presence, and the recording of a CD of works by Paul Mealor (CD release expected in September 2009).
