Scottish Ensemblewith Pekka Kuusisto, violin
Musical boundaries are explored in this programme inspired by the folk traditions and musical landscape of Pekka Kuuisisto's native Finland, and its close neighbours, Estonia and Hungary. Featured composers include Rautavaara, Erkki-Sven Tuur, Sallinen and Bartok. New works by spnm composers Donal Sarsfield and Katarzyna Glowicka open the concert.
