Day with Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra
This workshop will explore a number of techniquies for facilitating free improivisation improvisation including graphic scores, conduction techniques, conventional and non-conventional notation etc. All these techniques have been used by GIO in their collborations with vsiting musicans such as Evan Parker, Keith Rowe, Barry Guy, George Lewis and Maggie Nicols. No previous improvising experience necesassary.
