SAM HAYWOOD
PIANO

A decade ago the Third Piano Sonata by John McLeod created something of a sensation on its premiere in Aberdeen. It is thus with great anticipation we are looking forward to the world premiere of its successor, to be played by the outstanding Scottish pianist Sam Haywood who presently lives in Germany. Chopin's mighty second piano sonata - the one with the funeral march - will also be featured, together with smaller works of each composer.

Pre-concert talk by John McLeod on his new work, introduced by Roger B. Williams at 6.30pm

Thursday 16 November at 7.45pm (talk at 6.30pm)
Picture Gallery, Mitchell Hall, Aberdeen
Tickets: £7.50, £5 concessions, £2.50 under 18s
To book: 01224 641122 or www.abdnboxoffice.com
