Accessibility

The building is all on one level and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Disabled-access toilets and baby changing facilities are available. The aquarium is situated on the High Shore of Macduff, just east of the Harbour. There is a large car park with space for coaches. By Road From Aberdeen – take the A947 through Dyce, Old Meldrum and Turriff. Turn off for Macduff and follow the signs past the harbour to the aquarium. Travel time: 1 hour From Fraserburgh – take the A98 which goes right through Macduff. Turn off at the Plough Inn, before you reach the harbour, and follow the signs for the aquarium. Travel time: 40 minutes From Elgin – take the A96 until Fochabers and join the A98 towards Fraserburgh. Go through Banff and on to Macduff. Pass the harbour and turn left, following the signs for the aquarium. Travel time: 50 minutes By Bus From Aberdeen or Elgin – take the bus number 305 Elgin/Aberdeen via Coast.
