Scholar-pianist Peter O’Hagan will give a lecture recital on Boulez’s Sonata No.3 – an open form work which was never two of its five movements have been published, with the other three seen as works in progress, thereby giving the performer some freedom and fluidity the ordering and interpretation of the unpublished pieces.
